Production welder — City of Belfast

Immediate opening: we are hiring a production welder in City of Belfast, Northern Ireland. The job is on a structural steel site. Day to day you will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
