Now hiring: we are hiring an escalator technician in Malheur County, Oregon. On the job you will handle: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts What we are looking for: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Rotating shifts. $28 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
