We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Meade County, Kentucky. The job is in an AC and refrigeration showroom. What we are looking for: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns The role involves: • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience.
