HSE officer wanted in Cass County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a HSE officer in Cass County, Indiana. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Your main tasks: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
