Plant operator — Anderson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in Anderson County, South Carolina. The job is at a road and highway construction project. On a typical shift you will excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
