Immediate opening: crane rigger (Nebraska)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane rigger in Morrill County, Nebraska. You will work at a power plant. On the job you will handle: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear We offer $25 per hour plus benefits.
