We are recruiting: we are hiring a thermal insulation technician in Centre County, Pennsylvania. Ideal candidate: • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding Day to day you will install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling.
