Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Franklin County, New York. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. Ideal candidate: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Able to read isometric and site drawings On a typical shift you will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
