Join our team: we are hiring a site safety steward in Sibley County, Minnesota. The role involves: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $18 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
