On the job you will handle: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Full-time with occasional weekends.
