Bulldozer operator wanted in City of York

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in City of York, England. You will work at an open-cast mine. Requirements: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) On a typical shift you will cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer £95 per day plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
