Garment machinist wanted in Kemper County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment machinist in Kemper County, Mississippi. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. Your main tasks: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Meals and transport allowance provided.
