Vacancy available: milling machine operator (Louisiana)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Saint Charles Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. Your main tasks: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges 2+ years on the tools preferred.
