Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Jos North, Plateau State. The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Six days a week, one day off. ₦210,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
