Urgent requirement: punch press operator (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a punch press operator in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. Your main tasks: • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Record output and downtime on the production sheet Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout 5+ years on the tools preferred.
