Vacancy available: lift mechanic (Missouri)

Join our team: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Lawrence County, Missouri. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. Day-to-day duties: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
