Gardener — Christian County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gardener in Christian County, Missouri. You will be based in a residential garden complex. What we are looking for: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors On a typical shift you will rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $5,750 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
