We are recruiting: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Madison County, New York. What we are looking for: • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills The role involves torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe; rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres.
