Now hiring: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Newton County, Texas. Day to day you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
