Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe operator in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor The role involves: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature Part-time with flexible hours. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
