Ladle pourer — Fayette County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. On the job you will handle: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
