Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Haakon County, South Dakota. The job is in a meat processing plant. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling You will sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
