Great opportunity: CO2 welder (England)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CO2 welder in North Tyneside, England. Your main tasks: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 1+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer £14 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
