Now hiring: we are hiring a glass cutter in Lea County, New Mexico. The job is at a busy glazing workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Install toughened and laminated safety glass • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points You should have: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
