Garment machinist wanted in Warri South-West

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment machinist in Warri South-West, Delta State. You will work on an export house sewing floor. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance On the job you will handle: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
