Final inspection operator wanted in West Lothian

Vacancy available: we are hiring a final inspection operator in West Lothian, Scotland. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Day to day you will operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Willing to work rotating and night shifts Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. £18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
