Gas commissioning technician • Norton County, Kansas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Norton County, Kansas. You will work at a heating and plumbing contractor. Your main tasks: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations 4+ years on the tools preferred.
