Aluminium tig welder wanted in Campbell County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Campbell County, South Dakota. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
