Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement Day-to-day duties: • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates 1+ years on the tools preferred.
