Now hiring: we are hiring a halal butcher in Sheridan County, Kansas. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Ideal candidate: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Day to day you will keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; season and marinate meat on request; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
