Bricklayer — Lake and Peninsula Borough

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bricklayer in Lake and Peninsula Borough, Alaska. You will be based on a new-build development. The role involves erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off.
