GTAW welder • Barren County, Kentucky

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Barren County, Kentucky. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
