Elevator service technician • Hitchcock County, Nebraska

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Hitchcock County, Nebraska. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Day to day you will run load and overload tests with test weights; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
