GTAW welder wanted in Lea County

Now hiring: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Lea County, New Mexico. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On the job you will handle: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal Requirements: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage 5+ years on the tools preferred.
