Immediate opening: we are hiring a nursery worker in City of Covington, Virginia. Requirements: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance Day to day you will check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
