Vacancy available: we are hiring a car service technician in Lamb County, Texas. The job is at a busy car service centre. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • Able to read wiring diagrams and workshop manuals • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps On a typical shift you will replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends; replace clutch plates and gearbox components; diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool; bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear; carry out oil and filter changes; service and replace timing belts and chains. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
