Sheet metal roofer — Essex

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal roofer in Essex, England. You will be based on residential new-build sites. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate The role involves: • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
