Horizontal milling machine operator wanted in Boone County

Join our team: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Boone County, Missouri. The job is at a busy machine shop. You will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing. Requirements: • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
