Gas pipe fitter • Fort Bend County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Fort Bend County, Texas. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Your main tasks: • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
