Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in Gunnison County, Colorado. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day-to-day duties: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
