Gas installation technician — Richmond County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Richmond County, Georgia. The job is on commercial and industrial sites. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Your main tasks: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits.
