Machinist — Lawrence County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machinist in Lawrence County, Kentucky. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. On a typical shift you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits.
