GMAW welder — Charles County

Join our team: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Charles County, Maryland. You will work on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
