Sample machinist wanted in Miner County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Miner County, South Dakota. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. Day-to-day duties: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
