Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Wase, Plateau State. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Day to day you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion.
