Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Bradford, England. Day-to-day duties: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Part-time with flexible hours.
