Vertical transportation technician — Hunterdon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The job is in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. On a typical shift you will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
