Immediate opening: incoming goods inspector (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Andrews County, Texas. The job is at a food processing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans You should have: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols $22 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
