Now hiring: CO2 welder (Minnesota)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Dakota County, Minnesota. You will be based at a busy production line. Your main tasks: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
