Now hiring: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Buffalo County, Wisconsin. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Understanding of hand and radio signals 5+ years on the tools preferred.
